…these pants were too long for this boy. Hi, water!

  1. The flood is over.
    The streets are dry.
    So why the heck,
    Are you pants so high?

Let me guess… summer growth spurt? It’s an epidemic over here!

“aakswuvd” is way too many letters to verify my personhood. Are you checking my blood alcohol level too?

  2. Is that the secret? Water them and they grow? What if you want to keep them small? Like Bonsais? If I keep trimming them will they stay small? 😉

  3. Ruth Anne Adams says:

In olden days a glimpse of stocking
Was looked on as something shocking,
    Now, Goodness knows,
    Anything Goes.

  4. MrsBurns says:

The thing that gets me is that they still fit in the waist. We have boxes full of boy pants that still “fit” where it counts, but look like capris. Momma has the different, more depressing, problem, the one with the buttons and waist.

  5. Anonymous says:

Forget the pants. How ’bout them gunboats!

  6. Ken Wills says:

I see this picture and Tom Sawyer just comes to my mind.

  7. Michelle says:

If you had girls, these would easily transform into capris! Sad to say, but I have been known to make my son’s pants into shorts if the waist still fits. Of course I have no one to hand-me-down to.

  8. Patti Doughty says:

At our house, we stood around the computer and guessed as to which of your tall, slender boys belonged to these thin legs and even thinner feet. Two guesses for Ethan, one for El. I’ll get the answer from you privately.
