I Gave At The Office

1054 1054_ () 1054 1054 I just got back from a marathon doctor’s appointment, a winning Augie/Henry combo. It was absolutely worth combining the two in order to avoid making separate trips. But it was long. And multi-faceted.

While I was there, I got a text message from my sister, who was watching the three big boys. She said they were going to Chuck E. Cheese, and did we want to meet them there when we were done. I said that in general, my idea of rewarding myself for surviving a marathon doctor’s visit was not going to a restaurant filled with loud electronic devices and over-stimulated children, and could I sit this one out? She was very loving and offered to just let me drop off Augie and she’d watch everyone.

And that’s what I did today. The End. Because it’s 102 degrees outside, too hot to even go to the pool, and the few brain cells that I currently have I used up in my grown-up conversation with the pediatrician. I’m maxed out. (The good news is the baby is sleeping really well at night, and my energy levels are returning to “normal” — relatively speaking of course.)

Stay cool. 1054″> ?
