The cars pictured here are from last year. We are currently curing, cutting and sanding-sanding-sanding this year’s models. And see that thing on the right? That is a bookmark! With my book on the front! The publisher sent me a box of them to hand out and right now I’m still just kinda staring at them with a huge silly grin on my face, like woah, dude.

Derby day for us is Saturday…still working on our version of the Airstream trailer, and my favorite, the Log Flume from Six Flags (can you tell Dad didn't want to haul out the saw this year?). We are down to the wire this year more than ever. Good luck to your boys!

We did our first Derby last week,our car looked like a shark. Way cool (according to the other Tigers) but not very fast. Mom may have forgotten Dad's last minute instructions about Graphite on the wheels… Have fun!
