My boy asks if he can have some ice-cream. I tell him yes. A few minutes later I discover an empty bowl with traces of the chocolate, slow-churned ice-cream instead of the regular mint chocolate chip.
“Did you eat the chocolate ice-cream,” I ask him.
“Yes,” he answers.
“That’s the half-fat stuff,” I say, “that’s for me and Daddy.”
“Ha ha,” his brother says to him, “you’re going to get skinny.”

*L* That's pretty cute! I wish I had that threat when I eat ice cream though…"Watch out, or you'll get skinny!" Too cute.
This exact same thing has occurred in our home.
Funny! When I began reading, seeing the "few minutes later", I thought you had discovered he had eaten the ice cream first and asked permission later. That kind of thing happened more than once in our family of 5 boys and one girl. Your boy must be a fast ice-cream-eater.
