I'm Rachel Balducci. Welcome to my world! I am married to Paul and we are the parents of five wild and crazy boys -- and one daughter who is made of sugar and spice. Here you'll find my musings on life in a male-dominated household, with the occasional swoon about having a girl.
I'm a writer and a newspaper columnist and my first book, How Do You Tuck In A Superhero and other delightful mysteries of raising boys, was published last year.
If you're passionate about weapons, World Cup soccer, super powers and the NBA, you've come to the right place.

What a great article!! I also come from a large family and consider my sibling to be my best friends. And we have all married people who like each other, and us, as well. I couldn't imagine life without them and can only hope that my own boys will be best friends as they grow into adults.
If it's worth having, it's worth sharing…that will be put to immediate use in my household.
Such a great and helpful article. I didn't become friends with my sisters until our 30s. Oh, the wasted years! How I long for my children to be friends their whole lives!
Thanks, Mrs. Swenson.
I loved this Rachel…just what I needed to hear after a week of "will these kids ever like each other?"
