One night in Boston, we went to an especially fancy restaurant. A few years ago, Paul had a seminar in Boston and I went along with him for the week. We ate at Legal Seafood three times.
We loved it.
So this time we were determined to get there at least once and as it is a pricier, nicer setting than our usual hey-we-have-six-kids-in-tow jaunts, it was quite an experience. Everyone did great. I had a few cold-sweats moments with the three-year-old, he who was getting pretty worn out at the end of a long day, but we made it through and we all had a wonderful time.

Your hubby is such a pro…holding the baby perfectly away from the food so he can enjoy it while keeping her close and content. I guess practice does make perfect! I'm so sad you all were so close but I didn't get a chance to meet you…maybe next time!
i am so impressed with paul's one-handed eating. awesome!
also, her dress is super cute.
my sister in law works there (unless there is more than one legal sea food in boston?) You are brave! It is a rare occasion when I take my 4 boys out to eat….we always make a scene.
My husband absolutely LOVES their clam chowder. He grew up in the suburbs of Boston and every time we visit that's where we eat.
i telling ya: waiting for you to amend your blog title to include the lil girl "on the care & feeding of…."
