Hallie Lord’s new book is about to drop — the book that I wrote a chapter for (along with a ton of amazing women and I’m thrilled to have my name in the mix).
She and her husband made a fantastic book trailer which was promptly banned from Youtube. Huh? Jen Fulwiler has some interesting theories on why that happened.
So here’s the trailer — and those of you who know me and my pal Suse will get a kick out of the quote Hallie used for the trailer. Jen thinks the use of the knife and the word “margaritas” might have something to do with the ban. What do you think?
Anyway, you can get the book here, and I really hope you will!

Really??? with all the junk out there, that is considered bad?!?! Looks good! this may actually help sales! Thank you for being a rebel and sharing!!!!
It looks great! Can’t wait.
I loved this clip for celebrating your different voices … and how united you are by faith, wit and intelligence. Wonderful promo!
Shocking! You can order at http://osv.cm/zW21vt. If you dare.
I am completely baffled as to what could have possibly gotten that banned on Youtube. I kept waiting for something even slightly risque & it was a completely benign trailer. Seriously! Did youtube give a reason?
My (limited) understanding based on the videojournalism my organization distributes through youtube, is that they have an algorithm to look out for potential copyright issues. The music may have triggered it, or something else entirely. It doesn’t always work properly. It seems more likely that it’s a mistake than some intentional censoring of the content.
Awesome trailer, though!
