I was feeling all sheepish about how much joy this crossed-off To Do list was bringing into my heart. And then Sarah at Clover Lane posted a pic of her To Do list and I felt such glee for her that I realized, it’s just how some of us roll. (also, I whole-heartedly agree with her sentiments on the family dog. I was up early this morning having those very thoughts.)
Oh what a feeling!

Type A here too
Sometimes, I add things that I have already done and do every day to my list, just so I can have the joy of crossing it out.
Ok….Passport photos, Rick Steves’ book? Is there a European vacation in the offing?
Yes! Indeed! I can’t believe it!
A crossed of to do list has always been a source of peace and joy for me! And I have at times written things down that had already been done on that day just for the pleasure of crossing it off. True confessions!!!
Traci and Rita: I love y’all! I totally do that too, and also have season when I put even the most minute items to get that sense of accomplishment — as in, feed dog, brush hair, etc. Good stuff.
Yours is MUCH neater than mine!
Have you ever added something you have done to the TO DO list so then you can cross it out and feel even more accomplishes! LOL – I have done that. :0)
I love crossed off lists! Even my supermarket list gets crossed. What’s a make-up exchange?
I have been know to write “To Do List” at the top of my list, just so I can cross something off straightaway!
This is right up my alley! I just gave birth to my 6th baby yesterday, but earlier this week I had been on bedrest. My to do list was a life saver. I had plenty of stuff I could do while laying down (phone calls, work on the computer, etc.) and being able to cross stuff off my list was awesome. I just couldn’t afford to not get stuff done for 4 days!
