Augie was telling me about his good buddy who lives across the street. It seems the boy was watching television one day and came across a movie that ended up being unpredictably terrifying.
“He told me he found this movie called Twelve Monkeys. But the thing was, mom, the movie had absolutely nothing to do with monkeys. At all.”
That movie is actually kind of terrifying and does, indeed, have only a minimal involvement of monkeys.
I’m pretty sure the boy didn’t watch it once he caught on how bad it was! (I hope!)
